My Story
I spent nearly forty years dealing with chronic fatigue and related symptoms that no one could help to explain.
Over that time, I consulted many doctors and specialists, tried medications, supplements, diets, and even went through extensive sleep apnea testing, treatments and surgery.
I invested thousands of dollars and countless hours searching for answers. Some things helped briefly. Most didn’t.
What finally changed things for me was learning how the nervous system works, how it can become overprotective, and produce a wide range of symptoms.
I began to understand that many chronic symptoms are not signs that the body is broken, but signs that the nervous system is stuck in a constant state of protection.
Even after that realization, it took time to learn how to retrain my system.
The nervous system is complex. It runs automatically to keep us safe without having to think about it—but when it becomes overprotective, those same signals can begin to work against us.
And those signals are very real.
